Little Women is adapted from the classic novel by Louisa May Alcott. It tells the story of the four March sisters living in Concord, Massachusetts during the Civil War. Their father is serving as a chaplain in the Union army and the family has fallen on hard times. The story begins on Christmas Eve, 1863 and continues into the sisters’ adult years detailing the joys and sorrows of growing up and becoming little women.
